About Swiftex Manufacturing, Inc.
Swiftex has been manufacturing designer quality upholstered furniture in Bastrop, Texas since 1955. This privately owned company has been continuously operated by the same family since its founding.
Swiftex builds long-term relationships with our clients by emphasizing superb quality, superior value, and a commitment to exceptional service.
Our complete line of unique upholstery has the flexibility that enables our customers to put any fabric [one of our many stocked fabrics or customer's own material (COM)] on any of our frames to create individualized custom furniture.

Our frames are constructed using kiln-dried, solid wood dimension stock and are heavily reinforced. We use the finest materials available in all our fabrics, welt cord, trim flex, monofilament threads, Pellon skirt inserts, and zippers. We use an eight- to eleven-gauge no-sag or sinuous wire spring system. Our standard cushioning is a state-of-the-art cushion technology. Down seat cushions are available for an up-charge.
About Swiftex Products
All furniture is custom made. All sales are final. No cancellations or changes may be made once the factory as accepted an order. Production time is generally 4-6 weeks.
Shipping is done via either common carrier (freight collect) or by a contracted delivery service. Customers are permitted to pick up at the factory or arrange their own service.
